AS is his wont, Imran Khan has once again taken the most inopportune moment to speak on a sensitive topic.

Speaking to the media after attending the Army Public School (APS) Shuhada Forum, he reiterated that “if America can negotiate with the Afghan Taliban, Pakistan and Afghanistan should also negotiate with them (Taliban).”

His statement makes one wonder whether whatever the US does is kosher for others. If we are to go by Mr Khan’s logic, it would not be too hard to remove the name of the last remaining country to which Pakistanis are not allowed to travel. Since the US is best buddies with Israel, why doesn’t Mr Khan take the first flight out of Pakistan to Tel Aviv for some hugs and cuddles!
