KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers, Sindh has established 10 “heatstroke relief centres” at different locations in the metropolis to provide relief to the people affected by the ongoing heatwave.

Doctors and paramedical staff will be available at each centre to handle the heatstroke patients, officials said on Monday.

The centres have been established at the following points: Rangers Training Centre and College Toll Plaza (tel: 36871683), Sindh Rangers Hospital, Block A, North Nazimabad (36670725), HQ 53 Wing, Baldia Town, (32814044), HQ 93 Wing, People’s Football Stadium, Mauripur Road (32032629), HQ 91 Wing, SITE Stadium (32597050), HQ 72 Wing, Kala Pull (99202545 & 99205489), HQ 83 Wing, Jamia Millia Malir (34491746), HQ 82 Wing, Muzaffarabad Colony (35080167), HQ 63 Wing, Karachi University (99261056) and HQ 44 Wing, North Karachi (36493000).
