Thousands of Ecstasy pills seized

ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted a raid at a hotel in the capital and seized Psychotropic drugs worth millions and arrested four men.

According to the ANF, during the raid, 6,943 ‘Ecstasy’ pills were found in possession of four men who were staying in a hotel.

During preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the suspects are natives of Karachi and were in the business of transporting pills to other cities.

They had bought the pills in Karachi and frequently travelled to Islamabad to supply drugs to regular customers in the capital. It is estimated that the pills are worth Rs25 million in the international market.

A case has been registered against those arrested and further investigation is underway.
