LASBELA University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS), Uthal, is the only university in Balochistan which has a veterinary department.
However, the university remains lacking in providing facilities to both students and teachers.
No Internet service is provided in the hostels for both male and female students. There is no water filtering system and no lights.
Even though the university is located five kms away from the city, no efficient transport system is provided. The government should also take action against corruption in LUAWMS.
