KARACHI: A fine century from Shiraz Mohammad and equally good bowling by Taha Mamsa enabled Royal CC to whip Rangers CC by 145 runs in the KCCA President Cup match at the KCCA Stadium here on Monday.

Bating first, Royal CC made 246 all out in 43.1 overs with Shiraz scoring 104 off 103 balls with the aid of nine boundaries. Umar Imtiaz hit 60 that included six fours. Anas Usman captured 4-24.

Rangers CC, in reply, mustered 101 in 19.2 overs. Off-spinner Taha caused most damage with four for 21, while slow left-armer Amjad Manzoor took 3-22.

In another match at the NHG Ground, Sir Syed CC clinched a thrilling one-wicket win against Nazir Hussain Gymkhana Gulberg Zone-II.
