A jungle

Published December 28, 2014

THERE has been a debate on the social media about who were the terrorists who massacred 132 schoolchildren. I believe that the crime was not committed by the Taliban or terrorists. They were simply wild animals.

A human being, no matter how cruel he may be, does not kill innocent children. Even heartless, ruthless terrorists do not go to this degree. I am sure many Muslim scholars will say that those who committed these acts are outside of the fold of Islam.

I claim that they are outside of the fold of humanity. What would you do to a wild animal which has made its way out of the jungle and is now dangerous to your community?

Do these creatures deserve any talks or negotiations? We are looking at wild animals turning our cities into jungles, yet we do not make it a priority to stop them. If today we sit back, tomorrow they will come to every city, every school and go after every child.

Get up, Pakistan. Time has come to end hate and differences among us. Get united and fight against these creatures or else we will all fall victim to them.
