Man dies in pile-up

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A man died and two others were injured on Friday in a multi-vehicle collision involving two tractor-trolleys and a motorcycle rickshaw near Rehmanpur on Khanpur Road, according to Rescue 1122 sources.

A tractor-trolley loaded with cotton seed bags collided with another tractor-trolley and later hit a motorcycle-rickshaw.

The pile-up left Ghulam Fareed, 45, of Tibba Ghareeb Shah, dead at the crash scene while his mother Kaneez Bibi, 60, and another unidentified man were injured.

Rescue 1122 personnel shifted them to Shaikh Zayed Medical College Hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.
