SWABI: Two women were killed when unidentified assailants entered their house and opened fire on them in Kotha village here on Tuesday.

The incident occurred at Mohallah Bubakhel in the jurisdiction of Topi city police station. But it was not immediately clear as to what was the motive behind the attack.

The deceased women were identified as sister of Abdul Majid and wife of Umer Dad Khan. The victims’ family told police that they had no enmity with anyone. The police were yet to register FIR in the case.

Meanwhile, unidentified gunmen attacked a money changer in Topi bazaar in broad day light on Tuesday and decamped with cash. It was not clear how much money the robbers took away with them. However, the attack created panic among the people. Police said that they had been investigating the incident.
