QUETTA: The Balochis­tan government has regularised the services of all lady health supervisors, lady hea­lth workers, account supervisors and drivers who have been working on an ad hoc basis in the National Prog­ramme for Family Planning and Primary Heath Care in 30 districts of the province.

According to a notification issued by the health department, the services of these employees have been made permanent since July 1, 2012.

The decision has been made in accordance with orders of the Supreme Court.

The districts where services of these employees have been regularised are Quetta, Pishin, Mastung, Kalat, Khuzdar, Awaran, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Barkhan, Loralai, Musa Khail, Kech, Panjgur, Gwadar, Sibi, Harnai, Jaffarabad, Nasirabad, Kechhi, Jhal Magsi, Zhob, Sherani, Washuk and Ziarat.
