Journalists’ protest

MUZAFFARGARH: Local journalists took out a rally from the press club to the Katchery Chowk, chanting slogans against police for torturing media persons in Islamabad on Sunday.

Addressing the rally, Muzaffargarh Press Club President AB Mujahid and Muhammad Shiraz said there was no democracy in the country that had turned into a police state. They said covering any event was the right of journalists which could not be denied. The civil society also participated in the protest.
