KARACHI: Six members of Pakistan’s Test squad returned here on Tuesday from Colombo after suffering a 2-0 series whitewash in Sri Lanka.
Players, who returned included openers Khurram Manzoor and Shan Masood, Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq, Rahat Ali and wicket-keeper/batsman Sarfraz Ahmed.
Azhar and Rahat left for Lahore by a connecting flight.
Players at the Quaid-i-Azam International Airport were received by National Stadium staff, manager and coach of Pakistan Cricket Club Azam Khan.
Sarfraz, who scored his maiden hundred in the second Test in Colombo and three fifties in the series, was accorded warm welcome. He was profusely garlanded on arrival.
