LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said on Wednesday that party leader Makhdoom Javed Hashmi should have informed him if he had any reservations against the party.

In an interview given to a private news channel, the PTI chief said that he had never spoken of setting up a technocratic government, rather he had talked about setting up a government based on non-political personalities.

The chairman's words come after reports of Hashmi developing differences with the party leadership.

He said that their 'Azadi' march would not be unconstitutional and added that 1,500 party activists had been arrested so far.

He said that the Lahore High Court's decision over the march was ambiguous but the decision of the court would be respected nevertheless.
