KARACHI: Adnan Brohi shone with the bat and cherry as Faysal Bank registered their third successive win in the third Bankers’ Champions T20 League Cricket Tournament when they registered an exciting six-run victory over Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) here at the RLCA Ground on Sunday.

Brohi scored 24 off just 15 balls with three boundaries and a six and grabbed two wickets for 20 runs to take the man of the match award alongwith a 70cc bike.

Faysal Bank raised 161-8 in their 20 overs. Asad Iqbal hammered four fours and brace of sixes in his 19-ball 40. DIB in reply were restricted to 155-7. Shafat Hussain topscored with 50 in 35 balls with five boundaries and one six.

Bank Islami defeated Bank Al-Habib by 13 runs. Shoaib Akhtar blasted 72 in 52 balls laced with seven boundaries and pair of sixes.

Faisal Haroon starred in Burj Bank’s eight-wicket victory over HSBC Bank with a superb knock of 49.

In another match, KASB Bank thrashed Bank Islami by seven wickets.Fahad Khan slammed a match-winning 78.
