I BELONG to Quetta which has been facing acute water shortage for the last five or six years.

The Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) changed the lines several times and also collected money to provide new connections to the people.

However, there is water shortage. The people have protested several times after getting a cold shoulder from authorities concerned.

Before the elections the PML-N’s manifesto was to provide basic needs, including water, to the residents of Brewery Road, Quetta, and other parts of the city.

That also included supply of clean drinking water, but there is no hope in this regard.

As now Nawaz Sharif has become the prime minister, I demand that notice should be taken of the grievances of the people.
