Arif bags top scorer award

LAHORE, Dec 13, Multan-born international striker Arif Mehmood, the only Pakistani to score a hat-trick in history of the SAFF Championship (three against Bhutan on Tuesday), clinched the leading scorer award in the Pakistan Premier Football League.

Wapda's popular spearhead struck twenty goals in PPFL that saw 454 goals after the completion of all 182 matches of the event.

Arif, who missed several key matches of Wapda received Rs50,000 on Sunday for winning the top scorer award for the fourth time in the last six editions.—APP
