Rida Effendi, a medical student at Dow Medical College, is an Instructor at the First Response Initiative of Pakistan (FRIP). She aspires to be a Paediatric surgeon with interest in Neonatal Neurology. She is currently involved in research work in Neurosurgery and is working towards making a low cost Neuro-Healthcare Facility in Karachi, as a step towards providing accessible health care to the general public.
