LAKKI MARWAT, Nov 26: The rulers were responsible for weakening economy of the country, lawlessness and other prevalent crises, said Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf central executive council member Khan Bahadar Marwat.

Addressing public meetings at Samandar Titterkhel, Shahbazkhel and Wazir Kallay areas here on Monday, he called upon people to reject the traditional politicians and bring a change through ballot to make the country a welfare state.

Hakeem Asghar, Fidaullah, Sanamgul Marwat, Rafiullah and Samiullah also addressed the public gatherings. Younas Khan, Khalid Khan, Ghani Rehman, former councillor Khushdil Khan, Sultan Ahmad, Syed Nawaz, Ayaz Khan and Obaidullah along with their supporters joined PTI on the occasion.

Mr Marwat said that the country was faced with internal and external crises and it needed sincere and honest leaders like Imran Khan. He said that the rulers were responsible for weakening economy and national institutions of the country.

The PTI leader said that his party could steer the country out of the current crises and put it on the track of development and progress. “Our party will ensure good governance and strengthen national institutions within 90 days to provide justice and basic amenities to people at their doorsteps,” he claimed.

Mr Marwat said that PTI would stabilise the economy, enhance investment and alleviate poverty besides creating jobs to improve living standard of common man if it was voted to power.
