LAHORE, Nov 22: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is trying to win over estranged PML-Q leader Akram Chaudhry who resigned from the PML-Q provincial information secretary post a few days ago.

Chaudhry did not immediately respond, promising to inform the visitors of his decision after discussing the offer with his friends.

He resigned from the basic membership of the PML-Q on Wednesday after the party show caused him for violating party discipline and criticising PML-Q-PPP alliance.

A PML-Q official claimed that the Chaudhry was annoyed with the leadership for being ignored in power corridors and was also denied a certain sum as budget to run the media cell he was heading.

Mr Chaudhry did not take calls on his cell number when was contacted to get his comment.
