KARACHI: The Secretary General of the International Softball Federation (ISF) Beng Low Choo has said that her federation is keen to promote and develop the game in Pakistan.

Speaking to Asif Azeem, the chief coach of Pakistan softball team during a reception hosted in his honour at Royal Selengor Club in Kuala Lumpur, Beng Low said the Pakistan team is already showing progress in the sport and participation in next year’s Asia Cup in New Delhi in January will further raise their game.

She lauded Asif’s contribution in promoting the game and said Pakistan team will be provided good exposure by inviting Pakistan Juniors and seniors team to take part in the Malaysian national championships.

The Pakistan Under-16 team has already been extended invitation for taking part in Malaysian Boys U-16 event being held next month, and for the National Championship in March 2013.—APP
