ISLAMABAD: Spokesman for the Foreign Office, Moazzam Khan said on Thursday that Pakistan and India wished to resolve all matters through bilateral discussions and possessed the ability to resolve all mutual problems, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to media representatives, Khan said that Pakistan’s diplomatic relations with Russia are moving in the right direction. Both countries would aim to expand cooperation in various fields.

Khan also condemned the attack on teenage peace activist Malala Yousafzai and added that the government did not wish to speculate in regard to the suspects of the attack on Yousafzai. He further added that the attack on her was also an attack on the future and hopes of Pakistan.

Furthermore, Khan said that the Pakistani consulate in Greece was in contact with the Greek government regarding the issue of attacks upon Pakistani citizens living there.

He also added that Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf will be touring Kuwait, whereas President Asif Ali Zardari will be touring Azerbaijan during the next week.
