KARACHI: Pakistan's domestic champions Sialkot Stallions lost their first qualifying match of the Champions League Twenty20 to Auckland Aces by six wickets on Tuesday at the New Wanderers stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Sialkot Stallions were restricted to 130-9 in the first innings after deciding to bat first. Shahid Yousuf was the top scorer with 39 runs off 25 balls while Kyle Mills (2-26), Ronnie Hira (2-36) and Andre Adams (2-21) inflicted most of the damage for Auckland.

Auckland successfully chased down the targe with 2.5 overs to spare with Martin Guptill score 40 off 32 balls.

The Sialkot Stallions next face Hampshire on Thursday.
