KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Tuesday the squad for the women's Twenty20 Asia Cup which will be held in Guangzhou, China from October 22-November 1.

The national training camp is scheduled to be held from October 15-20 at Lahore Country Club, which will be attended by the entire team.

Sana Mir was named captain with Nain Abidi as vicecaptain and Batool Naqvi as wicketkeeper.

The Pakistan team recently returned from Sri Lanka after participating in the World Twenty20 where they were knocked out in the group stages after losing their first two matches against England and the eventual winners Australia. They beat India in their third match before losing the play-off match to South Africa.
