ISLAMABAD: The number of dengue patients in Lahore reached 15 as one new case was reported in the provincial capital.

Dengue virus was confirmed in 22-year-old Azhar of Bilal Ganj area of Lahore who was shifted to Mayo Hospital for treatment, a private news channel reported.

According to doctors, Azhar was brought to the hospital after coming down with fever and was diagnosed with dengue after blood tests.

The doctors said that the patient was being treated properly.

According to the health department, the confirmed number of dengue cases in the city so far was 15.
