Indians are more concerned over the terrorism prevailing in Pakistan and Afghanistan, but when they are asked over the real terrorist acts which they are doing at the minority groups in India regardless of religion, then the biggest democracy in the world is reluctant to talk about it or even condemn it. Then provide baseless justifications over the issue. But main thing is that even a single person is killed without any charge then it's a terrorist act and in Indian such killings are extensive.

When fed up of this large scale intrusion the All Assam Students Union (AASU) and Assam Gano Sangho Paroshad (AGSP) launched a movement to cleanse the state of these illegal immigrants, it was portrayed by India's liberal media and all the political parties as a movement against Bengalis of India and NOT against Bangladeshi Muslims. Today these Bangladeshi Muslims have spread all over India with millions of them living in Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta and even as far south as Bangalore.

I'm quite sure you have never heard of, or willfully ignored, the problem of illegal immigration from Bangladesh into North Eastern India. This is primarily an immigration issue, not a communal issue, and has been so for decades, ever since the All Assam Students Union launched the Assam Agitation in 1979. But why let facts get in the way of opinions...after all your precious Ummah has been targeted, hence it must be part of the global grand super-duper secret conspiracy against Muslims, and ultimately against Pakistan.

Bangladeshis are everywhere in India, I met them in all the places I visited. They are clannish and control certain trades like catering etc. The local Indians do not mess with them. Minorities are in a mess in the sub continent, especially India. Way too many people and limited resources plus biases of the majority are to blame for their plight. China and Afghanistan is no better.

The only practical solution for this problem is for Bangladesh to merge into India. Though honestly, not too many Indians will be thrilled about this and fewer still in Bangladesh. But it may be the only solution as the two parts of Bengal ie West Bengal & East Bengal(Bangladesh) will eventually have to become one, as this partition was initiated in the first place due to a flawed philosophy ie the two nation theory.

What India needs is a law to protect the majority community at the hands of minorities. in Pakistan Minorities live in fear whereas in India they are the offenders and every riot is incited by minorities. what a country!

HI, The most of Asam suppose to be part of East Pakistan where muslim majority was. And wrong to say thw muslims were onlt 10% in population in 1947. Pakistan did have a claim on Asam before Bangladesh. You should see the reports on british india in 1946-47. UNO should resolve this conflict.like South SUDAN.
