KHAIRPUR, July 15: A woman threw her two little children into the Rohri Canal before herself jumping into it on Sunday. People were searching for bodies till late evening.

The woman was identified as Aziman Ujjan, 28, and her children as Waheeda, 5, and Waheed, 3. She lived in a village near the canal.

A number of passersby informed Kot Diji police who called divers from Sukkur to search for the bodies.

According to local people and relatives, the woman faced domestic problems which might be the reason behind her extreme step.

ACCIDENT: Two men were killed and two others suffered injuries when their motorcycle collided with a speeding car on Sohu Kanasiro road near Sabeel on Sunday.

Ghulam Sarwar Lashari, Dilbar, Gul Khan and Jalal Lashari were returning to Baharo Lashari village when they were hit by the car. They suffered injuries and were taken to the Civil Hospital Khairpur. Ghulam Sarwar and Dilbar died on way and the other two were admitted to the hospital.
