ISLAMABAD, July 9: Asma Chaudry of DawnNews won the ‘Best female Anchor Current Affairs’ award in the 8th Women Excellence Awards ceremony which was held on July 7 in a local hotel of Islamabad, an official announcement said.
The event was organised by the Women Development Department, Government of Sindh, in collaboration with Excellent Events & Entertainment (Pvt) Limited.
The other nominees of the award in this category were Sana Bucha, Jasmeen Manzoor and Mehar Bukhari. The results were announced on the basis of online public voting through the official website www.icwl.com.pk/main/voting/
