ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar Wednesday said the recent strategic partnership agreement between India and Afghanistan would not have any effect on Pakistan.

Talking to media in Islamabad Khar said Pakistan, India and Afghanistan understand the present situation and will face the challenges together.

She said Pakistan wanted to remove the trust deficit among neighboring countries. She said that a better relationship between Pakistan and India needed.

Khar said the international community recognized the sacrifices and the role Pakistan played in the Aghan peace process.

She said that Pakistan and Afghanistan have confidence deficit and efforts are being  made to improve the relationship.

If Afghanistan is secure then Pakistan is secure, she stated. Khar also stated that during her visit of New York, Pakistan's point of view was being listened to and understood.
