QUETTA: Three witnesses appeared on Saturday before a tribunal probing into the killing by security forces of five foreigners in Kharotabad, DawnNews reported.

The tribunal is being headed by Justice Mohammad Hashim Kakar of the Balochistan High Court (BHC).

The three witnesses who appeared before the tribunal on Saturday included a taxi driver, an ASI and another citizen.

The taxi driver in his statement said that the five foreigners along with a local approached him for a ride and decided on a fare of rupees 1,300.

The witness further stated that the taxi was then stopped by ASI Raza Khan at the Samundari check post. The ASI searched the foreigners and their luggage, the witness said, adding that no weapons were found from their possession. — DawnNews
