KARACHI, Dec 8: Olympian Saleem Sherwani scored five goals and Tasneem Usmani four in Rauf XI’s massive 13-0 win over Ghulaman-i-Abbas in the Karachi Inter-club Hockey Tournament at the Olympian Iftikhar Syed Sports Academy (OISSA) here on Wednesday.
Sherwani scored in the sixth, 13th, 22nd, 35th and 38th minutes while Tasneem Usmani found the net in the 18th, 25th, 30th and 40th minutes.
Fareed (fifth and 10th mins), Zahid Ghaffar (20th min) and Junaid Iqbal (28th min) scored the remaining goals.
Meanwhile, Police Boys were given a walkover when opponents Nawab XI failed to show up for their game.
Thursday is a rest day.
