LAHORE, Jan 16 Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) President Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat has been appointed member of the Federation Internationale de Football Association's (FIFA) Disciplinary Committee.

The decision, according to FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke, was taken during the FIFA Executive Committee meeting in Robben Island, Cape Town, South Africa.

“Please accept sincere congratulations from FIFA Chief Sepp Blatter and myself,” added Valcke.

Faisal also has the honour of being elected in one of the FIFA Committees and Judicial Bodies. The Disciplinary Committee is headed by a Swiss lawyer Marcel Mathier, who also happens to be the chairman of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) disciplinary committee.
