I WANT to record my protest against the size of the caretaker government in Sindh. There are 17 ministers and three advisers who have been sworn in by the governor. And there is news that nine more will be inducted soon. The total will come to be 29, which is very huge. Why has Sindh always kept so many ministers in every tenure?

The previous permanent setup in Sindh had 60 full-time ministers, over a dozen advisers and special assistants who raised the cost of administering a ‘poor province’, did less for development but more for increasing their perks and privileges.

If Punjab can be administered with eight ministers in the previous permanent setup and four in the current caretaker government, why can't Sindh do the same? I request the governor and Sindh chief minister to please cut the size of the cabinet to six so that Sindh’s finances are not burdened.
