FATEHJANG, April 7: A man was killed in the main chowk of Kohat Road Fatehjang on Saturday, but police allowed the killers to go free.

According to police sources, Noman Mustafa, resident of Chassain Wali Dheri, was killed and a passerby, Saifullah, was injured by Danial Jazab and Mohammad Rafi due to enmity.

The accused managed to escape, and were seen heading towards Rawalpindi Road. Fatehjang police therefore alerted the Hattar police checkpost about the incident. When the culprits reached the checkpost, the patrolling officers intercepted them. The two culprits then threatened the officers to let them go, or else face death. The police officers complied and allowed the two to escape.
