Serbs in the tiny Kosovo hamlet of Štrpce went back in time to celebrate the marriage ceremony of a medieval Serb hero, taking the opportunity to bring together the dwindling minority in the majority ethnic Albanian country.

Whereas in Santiago, some men had also travelled to the medieval with their helmets and shields, battling to preserve tradition and history. —Photos and texts by Agencies
