LAHORE, Jan 6: The concluding day of the Dawn Media Group’s All About Lifestyles exhibition proved to be an all-family show here at the Expo Centre at Johar Town on Sunday.

The US Consul-General in Lahore, Nina Maria Fite, was prominent among the visitors to the show. Like the opening day on Saturday, the interactive Young World Pavilion attracted almost every young visitor to the exhibition, an annual feature for the last 12 years.

Around noon, it was a bit difficult to easily move at the pavilion where children were busy in colouring, face painting and pottery making. Receiving a prize for good colouring and getting an identity card with his or her name and picture besides image of favourite cartoon character in the background was a treat for the children.

Displaying products ranging from consumer items to commercial ones at economical prices besides special offers, approximately 100 stalls continued to attract visitors of all ages.

Ms Nina Maria Fite watched the “All-Breed Championship Dog Show” for quite some time that continued from 11am onwards. She also patted the winner dogs while distributing trophies among their owners.

Before leaving the Expo Centre, Ms Nina visited various stalls and expressed keen interest in the handicrafts displayed there.

The show also had an elaborate food court, offering continental, Chinese and traditional local delicacies at affordable prices.

Owned by Omer Asjad Malhi and Ali Asjad Malhi, Freedom Jilonet at Kanix (English Pointer) was declared the best dog while Babar Nasrullah Khan’s Sudeo’s Unbreakable of a Castle at Rachna (Labrador Retriever) was adjudged reserve best dog of the show.

Ali Yawar Abbas Rizvi’s Sadanwali Granitehill Show me the Way (Weimaraner) best baby while Simran Harman’s Cena Falvavolgyi’s (German Shepherd) was adjudged reserve best baby of the show.

Owned by Zain Aslam, Hugo (Bull Mastiff) was declared the best puppy while Kobeum’s Southern Bye-Bye of Lt-Col Umer Malik (Labrador Retriever) was adjudged reserve best puppy of the show.
