JI elects provincial heads

LAHORE, Nov 1: In the light of recent elections held through a secret ballot, Dr Syed Waseem Akhtar has been reelected as Punjab Jamaat-i-Islami chief.

According to a JI announcement, Dr Merajul Huda has been elected as Sindh amir while Prof Muhammad Ibrahim Khan and Akhundzada Abdul Mateen have been elected KPK and Balochistan heads, respectively. — Staff Reporter
