The ‘tell me’ mystery This is with reference to the Bates file: The ‘tell me’ mystery by O.A. (YW, August 18, 2012). I have read many Bates files up till now and always got impressed by Alfred’s work, but this one really showed the quality of his detective work.

He solves even the most difficult mysteries only with a snap of his fingers using his keen observation and vast knowledge. In the same manner, he solved this mystery too and gave very logical and believable reasons for the conclusion he came to while solving it.

Therefore, I appreciate the writer for creating such a character and weaving such stories around him where he solves mysteries and cases intelligently and skilfully, and I hope that the writer continues to give his readers this treat every Saturday as long as the Young World magazine exists.

Cat tales

This is regarding the wonderful column Cat tales by Fouzia Nasir Ahmad. The articles published under this section give cat owners very useful tips to take better care of their furry friends.

I appreciate the writer’s efforts in providing us with such useful articles that make us understand the needs of these cute pets.

Astronomy

The subject of astronomy had never been as interesting for me as it is now. Thanks to Arif Ali Abbasi who writes his columns in such an appealing way that no one can avoid reading his articles!

I have personally begun to take interest in astronomy now and after reading Arif Ali’s fortnightly column Astronomy, I search the web as well to get to know more about the published topics.

I would like to thank the Young World team for giving us such useful material to read.

I adore Young World

I am an old reader of Young World and I always adore going through it as it is really very informative and entertaining. All the sections in it are marvellous. The quotes given in the magazine are always very motivating and inspiring.

It is also very enlightening to read the cover stories. Myths and mysteries section is also amazing. The addition of Zooming in is a great idea!

I would like to suggest to you to include a ‘cookery column’ in the magazine in order to teach children some culinary skills.

The addition of a ‘crafts section’ would also be great — in this section you can teach children to make some crafts and recycled products for different purposes. I hope the YW team will implement my ideas.
