QUETTA: Unknown attackers fired four rockets at the house of  Balochistan’s former Member of Provincial Assembly and Chieftain of the Khetran tribe Sardar Abdur Rehman Khetran in Barkhan district of Balochistan on Monday, DawnNews reported.

The incident occurred in the Khetran area in Barkhan district near Quetta.

Security forces reached the area and as investigations into the incident went underway.

No loss of life or property was reported in the incident.

Sardar Khetran, belongs to the Pakistan Muslim League (Q) and has served as the party’s provincial vice-president in the past.

His wife, provincial minister Nasreen Rehman Khetran also from the PML (Q) in February had resigned from her Balochistan Assembly membership in protest of the killing of MPA Mir Bakhtiar Domki’s wife and daughter’s murder in Karachi, earlier this year.
