LAHORE, Aug 17: PPP Punjab President Imtiaz Safdar Warraich has said ‘fake’ surveys cannot befool the people as their sponsors will be exposed in 2013 elections.

Talking to reporters after presiding over a meeting of PPP’s Daska and Sialkot office-bearers here on Friday, Mr Warraich said: “Those sponsoring fake surveys predicting decline in PPP’s popularity will be fully exposed in next elections. Even they should take some lesson from the results of recent by-polls.”

He said the PPP was still the most popular party among the masses. He said the PPP would go into the next elections with its people-friendly policies and the Benazir Income Support Programme and the PPP workers had started preparation in this regard.

During the meeting, Mr Warraich listened to the problems of the office-bearers of Daska and Sailkot and removed differences among them. He also asked the divisional president to complete Shakargarh’s organisational setup in two weeks.
