GUJRAT, Aug 8: The University of Gujrat (UoG) has declared BA, BSc and BCom results of annual 2012 examinations. All top positions were fetched by women candidates.

In BSc, Aqsa Noureen of Ibn-e-Imam College of Jalalpur Jattan stood first with 678 marks followed by Beenish Khadim of Peace College of Rawalpindi second with 630 marks and Aisha Ashraf of Fatima Jinnah College third with 625 marks. Overall 57.24 per cent of the candidates passed.

In BA, Sidra Rafeeq topped the UoG with 606 marks, whereas Muqadas Zaka stood second with 590 marks and Farzan Kausar stood third with 589 marks. Up to 40.38 per cent of the candidates passed.

In BCom, Tehreem Anees of the Indus College of Commerce, Rawalpindi, topped the UoG obtaining 1,147 marks followed by Aisha Siddiq of the Indus College of Commerce, Rawalpindi, and Javairia Rasheed of Ibn-i-Imam Science College, Jalalpur Jattan, stood second and third.

Up to 27.29 per cent of the candidates passed.
