The Reluctant Fundamentalist, a film based on Pakistani author Mohsin Hamid’s novel and directed by Mira Nair, will open the 69th Venice Film Festival. The movie, which will be shown out of competition on Aug 29, stars Hollywood A-listers like Kate Hudson, Martin Donovan and Kiefer Sutherland.

An interesting aspect of the project is its musical score by the erstwhile Peter Gabriel. Looking at all the components of the film, it for sure looks like a smash hit!
