KARACHI, Aug 3: In view of the increasing deaths of peacocks reportedly due to a viral disease, the headquarters of the Sindh wildlife conservator has been temporarily set up in Mithi to monitor the situation and provide assistance to the teams combating the viral disease, said a press release issued by the Sindh wildlife department.

The day-to-day progress of the field teams will be monitored from the headquarters, according to the statement. —PPI
