ISLAMABAD: Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday alleged that Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan had not paid a single penny as tax during the period from 1971 to 1992.

Addressing a press conference at Punjab House, Khan also criticised the PTI chief for levelling ‘baseless allegations’ against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership.

He said that in the past, Imran Khan had been talking about moving courts against the PML-N leadership. “Now I accuse him of tax evading and he should bring me to courts.”

The PML-N leader said that Imran Khan has always levelled accusations and allegations against party chief Nawaz Sharif and his family.

Imran should move the courts inside and outside Pakistan to probe the businesses of the sons of Nawaz Sharif, he added.

The opposition leader in the NA said that Nawaz's son had legal and lawful property in England and asked Imran to file a suit against Hassan Nawaz even in Britain.

He also alleged that Imran had a track record of changing statements.
