LAHORE, July 26: PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif says south Punjab will prove to be a bastion of the party as its government has initiated a large number of development projects there and the way Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has supervised the relief and rehabilitation activities for the flood victims will always be remembered by the masses.

He was talking to a delegation of PML-Q leaders from Multan who joined the PML-N here on Thursday.

Led by Asim Bher, various Nazims of constituency 148 from Multan joined the PML-N.

Mr Sharif accepted an invitation of public meeting in Makhdoom Rashid.

Welcoming them to the party folds, Mr Sharif said that the workers of the party should sincerely strive for promotion of real democracy in the country and establishment of rule of law.
