KARACHI, July 26: Skipper Javed Mansoor led from the front to guide KESC beat hosts and defending champions Aga Khan Gymkhana by 30 runs in Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan Trophy Silver Jubilee cricket tournament at the AKG Ground here on Thursday.

Javed scored a breezy 42 not out off 24 balls with a brace of sixes and as many fours as KESC collected 152-6 after being asked to bat first by AKG skipper Mir Afzal.

Slow left-armer Hussain Ali took three for 23.

Aga Khan Gymkhana, were restricted to 122-8 in reply with Ammar Hasan making 31.
