NBP pay-in slip

Published June 27, 2012

THE National Bank has introduced a new pay-in slip. It has built-in carbon. So when you write on the top page, a copy is supposed to appear automatically on the page beneath it. The new pay-in slip has many drawbacks.

First, in the box for day, month and year, you are called upon to do overwriting because of the printed matter already there. Second, the impression on the carbon copy is poor.

Third, it is all loose sheets, and not a booklet, as was previously the case. This makes systematic record keeping for quick reference difficult.

I have a suggestion: either devise a new pay-in slip, or bring back the old booklet form.

Give the NBP customer a choice to use one of the two pay-in slips.
