ISLAMABAD: The doors of the Prime Minister House were opened on Saturday afternoon for two hours so that common people could meet Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf to greet him on his election.

A large number of people from different walks of life got a rare chance to enter the PM House to congratulate the premier.

The newly elected prime minister joined the people from all walks of life and besides receiving congratulations from them, discussed various issues with them and assured to take adequate measures to resolve their problems.

The people, most of them party workers, congratulated the prime minister and appreciated the party’s decision to appoint a die hard worker of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) at the highest post of prime minister.

Ashraf shook hands with the people who visited him from 5 to 7 pm when the doors of the PM House remained opened for the general public.
