Outlaws arrested

ATTOCK, Feb 14: Police arrested outlaws and recovered arms, narcotics and liquor from their possession. Sources said on Tuesday that 14 gamblers were arrested and Rs9,810 stake money and three mobile phones were seized from them in Dawoodpur village.

Hazro police arrested three outlaws, Banaris Khan, Khalid Zaman and Afzal Khan and seized 740gm hashish and a 30-bore pistol from them.

Four persons — Rozi Khan, Ghulam Ahmed Gondal, Farman Gul and Mohammad Bashir — were also arrested for possessing 1,400gm hashish and a 30-bore pistol during checking in Attock Khurd and Rangu village.

Bahtar police recovered a 30-bore revolver and four bottles of liquor from the possession of Mohammad Azam and Mohammad Yasir.

Jand police held a woman, a resident of Kohat district, and Azmatullah and found two pistols, 50 bullets and 115gm hashish from them.—Correspondent
