PESHAWAR, July 15: A two-day fashion show is opening here at Nishtar Hall on Saturday to showcase historical and modern fashions and lifestyles of people of the region.

Globoss and Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) are jointly organising the show. The event includes musical concerts and painting and photo competitions to pay tributes to the legends of film industry including Badar Munir, Yasmeen Khan and Asif Khan and national heroes, Malik Saad Shaheed, Safwat Ghayur and Kernal Sher Khan.

The event themed as 'Love, peace and lifestyle' also includes the presentation of local culture and social living style of the people dating back from 1950 to the present modern era through catwalks by male and female models.

According to press release issued here on Friday, famous singers including Kiran Khan, Zeek Afridi, Sitara Younas, Baryalay Samadi, Janas Khan, Zeb Khan, Sami Khan, Arooj Mohmand, Yamee Khan and Ayaz Khan besides bands from Lahore and AR Anwar Ustad from Karachi would mesmerise the audience.—Bureau Report
