THE residents of Kasur District are happy about the construction of Kasur-Depalpur Road which is likely to bring a positive socio-economic change in the area.

The quality of construction is a matter of satisfaction for the residents. The project has created employment opportunities for the locals; material and services are in demand, and local industries are surely going to benefit by better transport facilities.

The road project will facilitate farmers in sending milk, vegetables, fodder, sugarcane, etc., to other cities quickly. It will reduce travelling time between Kasur and Depalpur and also to Lahore, Okara, Sahiwal and Multan. It will also serve as an alternative route to the Lahore-Multan Road if completed in time as per plan.

The living standard of the local community is likely to improve.

For local students this project will be extremely beneficial as they will be able to reach the institutions of Lahore and Kasur with ease.
