LAHORE, Sept 29: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its men and women squads for the 16th Asian Games to be held in Guangzhou, China, from Nov 12 to 27.

The game of cricket has been included in the Asian gala for the first time and the matches will be of T20 format.

Fifteen players were selected in the men and 14 in the women side.

Khalid Latif will lead the men squad while Sana Mir women's.

Men's: Khalid Latif (captain), Sharjeel Khan, Sheharyar Ghani, Azeem Ghumman, Akbar-ur-Rehman, Naeemuddin, Naeem Anjum, Usman Qadir, Sarmad Bhatti, Aizaz Cheema, Lal Kumar, Mohammad Irshad, Raza Hassan, Bilalwal Bhatti, Jalat Khan. Reserves: Umair Khan, Mohammad Rameez, Gulraiz Sadaf, Azam Jan. Officials: Chaudhry Mohammad Anwar (manager); Sadiq Mohammad (head coach); Munawwar Hussain (trainer); Mohammad Asad (physio).
